Tips for using animal troughs for a longer time:
1. Select the appropriate trough for the animal and install the troughs in a solid place at a height accessible to the animal.
2. Do not install the trough in direct sunlight.
3. Empty the trough every other day, remove the lid and float, if any, and clean it using dishwashing liquid or alkaline-based disinfectant and rinse with plenty of water.
4. Never clean the inside and outside of the trough with an acid-based disinfectant to slow down corrosion and prevent direct wear.
5. Check the float inside the trough regularly to see if it works properly, do not waste your water.
