The load limit prevents the calf from being excessively pulled and damaged. Without this limitation, pulling forces of up to 600 kg can be reached, posing a significant risk of injury to the cow and calf. However, forces of up to 160 kg are completely sufficient for normal deliveries.
With HK Rheintechnik’s 2060 mechanism, you can adjust the pulling force limitation continuously. The arm locks when the pre-set force is reached. In case of an emergency, the pulling force control can be disabled.
